Today was the start of a new week and it's back to reality. We had a wonderful day. It has always been Eddy , me and the girls always traveling to someone else's house but not this year. Anthony, his daughter Jamie,mom and Nikki all came here. Eddy of couone was rse cooked a fabulous meal. We all ate too much and didn't get to spend enough time together.
Apparently everyone was making fun of our TV. We have one of those 21 inch screen TV that we have had about 10 years. It was fine for us but not for my brother. He came home and surprised us with a 37 inch TV........OMG I thought I would die . Anthony expresses himself with gifts. He is sooo generous. Anthony just wants everyone to be happy.
This year is a special time because we;s going to do in iue are about to be new grand parents. I can't believe it myself. I praise God for my family and what he is going to bless us with soon. So this year 2010 will be a lot of firsts for us, Until Next tTme Moe

Thanksgiving 2009
Thanksgiving has come and gone and it was everything I wanted and more.
Mimi(my mom) came to Texas and Nikki was soon to follow. Anthony and Jamie(my brother and neice) came last from Mississippi. We had about 10 people total, it was a nice mixture of friends and familyEddy woke up early Thanksgiving morning and started cooking(much better cook than me). Of course we ate too much but what was great was the house was full of people and we enjoyed each other.
Anthony surprised Eddy and me and bought us a H.D. TV We had a 21 inch screen, I know it was a little out dated but it was good enough for us. It is beautiful!! Anthony is very kind hearted and wants to give the world to everyone.All the cousins went to the movies but we stayed at home(with our new t.v. it felt like we were at the movies).
Black Friday; The girls and me have been getting up at 4:00 every year and going out to see what we can find. It's our tradition we have done for years. This year it was a little different because Daniel(Tasha's boyfriend) came. That was a little hard for me to get used to because I used to have them all to myself but as Eddy said times are changing. I guess but anyway we got up at 3:30 and six of us went. We found a few things some pooped out sooner than others but overall it was ok.
Anthony and Jamie left and now Mom is leaving tomorrow and then Nikki Sunday. It is so nice to be able to get together I just hate we are soooo far away. Oh well..........Pretty soon we will have a house full again. I love the holidays just because we forget about everything we need to take care of and concentrate on each other.
I just got home a while ago so I am going to take a nap.........until next time..........Maureen

Children
These are my girls. Of course it was two years ago and now they are both pregnant and I am going to be a new grandmother. WOW!!!
In the past two years we have had so many roller coaster rides but hopefully we are going to get off and it will be somewhat steady.
Thanksgiving is going to be here soon and I am so excited. Both my girls are going to be home and my mom, brother his daughter and friends are going to be here. Eddy is cooking and we will have a wonderful time.
When it all comes down to it as long as our family is together every thing els is OK.

A New Beginning
I named this post a new beginning because January 25th or so I am going to be a new grandmother.
This is my very first blog , I figured everyone was blogging so I thought I would follow suit.
I am married to a wonderful man for 21 years. We just have the two girls but now our small family is growing by leaps and bounds. We are not complaing.
I have twin girls who are 20 almost 21 and both girls are pregnant. Yes, we do everything in pairs I guess. It took us a little while to get used to but "It Is What It Is" That is my new saying. I can't do anything to change it so go with it.
Tasha is going to give birth around January 25th . and Nikki well we don't know she says around the end of April. Go figure they are having boys.....lol
Well, I guess I have to get ready for bed..........until next time, Good night
